Delivering the Freeport

The proposed site, located south of East Midlands Airport, is designated as an East Midlands Freeport tax site and will offer occupiers tax and customs incentives, including simplified import/export procedures. Through our partnership with MAG, we hope to realise the full potential of this Freeport tax site, which will be transformative for the East Midlands economy.
Our shared vision for this project is to harness the Freeport's status and the central location of East Midlands Airport to establish a high-impact gateway. This gateway will be instrumental in fostering economic growth, driving innovation, and creating widespread employment opportunities throughout the Midlands. By contributing our expertise in the development of modern, sustainable industrial logistics parks, we are confident that our partnership will bring substantial benefits for both the local community and the broader UK economy.

Our aim is to attract much-needed investment into key growth sectors for the local and national economy, and to ensure people have the skills necessary to access these opportunities.
We are also committed to working with, and listening to, the communities around the site so that we achieve a high-quality sustainable development that everyone can benefit from.
